Tech Artist (Unreal Engine) – Contract (3–4 Months)

We’re looking for a Tech Artist to help bring a first-person Unreal Engine project to the finish line. This role is focused on polish, performance, and visual clarity inside an existing game.

You should be comfortable jumping into a project and contributing immediately.

Scope

  • Material and shader cleanup (readability, performance, consistency)

  • Lighting passes across levels (mood, visibility, performance)

  • Optimization of assets and scenes (LOD setup, instancing, material cost)

  • Identifying and fixing visual performance issues in gameplay-heavy areas

  • Supporting environment art with set dressing and polish where needed

  • Working inside Unreal to hook up and refine assets properly

Requirements

  • Strong experience working in Unreal Engine

  • Comfortable working inside existing projects and Blueprint setups

  • Ability to identify performance issues and resolve them quickly

  • Solid understanding of lighting, materials, and scene composition

  • Experience with real-time optimization (materials, draw calls, LODs)

  • Able to work quickly and make practical decisions

  • Must have shipped or contributed meaningfully to at least one Unreal Engine project (game, demo, or equivalent)

  • Experience working inside an existing Unreal project (not just solo builds)

  • Contract: 3–4 months

  • Full-time preferred, flexible depending on fit

Unreal Generalist / Programmer – Contract (3–4 Months)

We’re looking for an Unreal Engine generalist to help bring a first-person project to the finish line. This role is focused on implementation, bug fixing, and gameplay polish inside an existing game.

You should be able to step into an active project and contribute immediately.

Scope

  • Implement and refine gameplay systems using Blueprints (C++ a plus, not required)

  • Fix bugs across gameplay, interactions, and level scripting

  • Hook up and polish level scripting sequences (events, triggers, progression)

  • Support AI behavior tuning and encounter flow

  • Identify and resolve performance issues in gameplay systems

  • Work closely with design to execute on existing mechanics

Requirements

  • Strong experience working in Unreal Engine

  • Comfortable working inside existing Blueprint systems

  • Ability to read, debug, and improve other people’s work

  • Experience implementing gameplay systems (movement, interaction, AI, etc.)

  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to move quickly

  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight

  • Must have shipped or contributed meaningfully to at least one Unreal Engine project (game, demo, or equivalent)

  • Experience working inside an existing Unreal project (not just solo builds)
